1. Your booking

A booking is a contract between you (the guest) and the owners of Two Bearded Brothers. The stay is held once you complete the booking flow and is confirmed once payment has been received. The studio sleeps a maximum of 2 guests, and only the guests named on the booking may stay overnight.

2. Moderate cancellation policy

Cancel 5 or more days before arrival for a 50% refund. Cancel 3 to 4 days before arrival for a 25% refund. Inside 72 hours of arrival the booking is non-refundable.

If we have to cancel your stay for any reason within our control, you receive a full refund. If the property becomes unusable through no fault of either party, we refund all unused nights.

3. Payment

Rates are quoted in South African Rand and include cleaning. There are no platform service fees. The full amount is payable at the time of booking. Card payments are processed by our payment provider and we never see or store your card details.

4. House rules

• Check-in: From 14:00, self check-in with a gate and door code
• Check-out: By 10:00
• Maximum guests: 2 guests — the studio does not sleep more
• Quiet hours: 22:00 to 07:00, out of respect for the neighbours and the brothers
• Parties and events: Not permitted — the studio is not suited to parties, gatherings or entertaining additional visitors
• Pets: Not permitted, as the main house is home to two schnauzers
• Smoking: No smoking inside the studio or anywhere on the property
• Swimming pool: The family pool is part of the private home and isn't available for guest use
• Private family areas: This is our home — please be mindful of private family areas
• Load-shedding: The inverter covers lights, wifi and plugs. The hob, kettle and geyser need mains power
• Minimum stay: 2 nights

5. Guest responsibilities and damage

Please treat the studio as you would your own home. You are responsible for damage caused by you or your guests beyond ordinary wear and tear, and we will contact you before charging for anything. Lock up when you leave and keep the gate closed. Loss of keys or remotes is charged at replacement cost.

6. Liability

You use the studio, patio and garden at your own risk. To the extent permitted by South African law, the owners are not liable for injury, illness, loss or theft of personal belongings during your stay, except where caused by our gross negligence. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
