About Two Bearded Brothers
Two Bearded Brothers is a private guest studio in the heart of Claremont, Cape Town — named after the two rather distinguished schnauzers who rule the main house. Separate from the main house, it offers privacy while still feeling secure and connected.
Designed for digital nomads, business travellers, sportspeople and independent guests on the move, it's a classic, modern and really comfortable space to arrive, settle in, work, recharge and head out again. Inside you'll find a super king-size bed, a private bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a dedicated workspace — everything you need for a comfortable short or extended stay.
Centrally located in Claremont, the studio is perfectly positioned for easy access to Cape Town and the Southern Suburbs. Whether you're heading to work, an appointment, a sporting event, the city, the mountain or out to explore, it makes a convenient home base.
It's particularly suited to working travellers and digital nomads who need a practical, comfortable setup; runners, cyclists and supporters attending Cape Town events, including the Two Oceans Marathon, which starts nearby; guests visiting Kingsbury Hospital, the Cape Peninsula Eye Hospital and the many specialists in the area; and anyone wanting a central, quiet base from which to explore the city and return somewhere comfortable.
The style is classic, simple and modern — comfortable without being complicated. No unnecessary fuss, just a really comfortable space that works. Two Bearded Brothers is best suited to guests looking for a quiet, private stay rather than a party or entertainment venue. Come and go at your own pace, and feel at home when you return.

The Story Behind the Name
Two Bearded Brothers is named after the two very important gentlemen of the house — our much-loved male Schnauzers.
With their unmistakable beards, big personalities and habit of being involved in absolutely everything, they became the natural inspiration for the name of our little guest studio.
The studio itself is private and separate from our home, so you may not always meet the brothers during your stay — but their character is woven into the identity of the space.
A word from the Two Bearded Brothers
- No smoking is permitted inside the studio or on the property.
- While you'll see our family swimming pool, it is part of our private home and unfortunately isn't available for guest use.
- The studio is not suited to parties, gatherings or entertaining additional visitors.
- We kindly ask guests to keep noise to a minimum, particularly in the evenings.
- As this is our home (and the home of the Two Bearded Brothers), please be mindful of private family areas.
- Most importantly, make yourself comfortable, come and go as you please, and enjoy having your own little base in Cape Town.

Our favourite Cape Town stay
The cottage is even better than the photos. Spotless, quiet, and a five minute walk to Cavendish. Dale left us wine and rusks and answered every message within minutes.

Perfect little hideaway
We used it as a base for hiking Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch. The garden patio at sunset with the braai going was the highlight of our week.

Quiet, private and beautifully done
Everything you need for two people, thought through properly. Strong wifi, excellent shower, comfortable bed. We have already booked again for December.

Great value for Claremont
Easy self check-in, secure parking and a genuinely peaceful garden. Only note is that the studio is compact, exactly as described.
